The genius wind mage Guanyue Xi was hunted down and left on the verge of death. In his final moments, he opened a necromancer's manual he'd found. It said:
[Rule One: This book does not guarantee powerful or reliable summons. All summons are random.]
[Rule Two: You reap what you sow. Choose your offerings with care.]
Guanyue Xi: ...
Guanyue Xi: Nothing left to lose. I'll give it a try.
Guanyue Xi looked around. All he had was a broken wand and a torn purse. Gritting his teeth, he wiped a handful of blood from his wound.
A line of text appeared on the page: [Ding-dong! Congratulations, you have summoned the ultra-rare creature, the lich Baishi Qing.]
[For an ultra-rare summon, continue offering sacrifices to prevent it from leaving you.]
The newly summoned, gray-haired lich knelt on one knee before him, took the mage's hand, and lowered his head to lick the blood still on it.
The lich's cool, soft tongue brushed the mage's palm, making him shiver.
"I will fulfill all your requests. Whatever you desire is what I desire."
Guanyue Xi: "Wait... Urgh..." (spits blood) (coughs) (covers his mouth)
[Over-the-top, fiercely loyal lich 1 x Super-fragile necromancer who keeps coughing up blood 0]
(They're the same protagonists as in my sentinel-guide story next door, but their experiences are different, so their personalities will differ quite a bit~)
