My Beautiful Wife's Health Bar Is Showing

A Fu lives in a peaceful little town.

Though she's frail and can't work like a normal person,

Every so often, a husband who calls himself a "player" returns from a long journey.

He tends the flowers and plants in her yard, buys her gorgeous clothes and jewelry, and plucks the stars from the sky for her, spending all his points and emptying the System's shop... all to make her happy.

A Fu is pleased with every husband she gets.

Even when they solemnly promise to take her back to the real world with them once they've cleared this "instance," she gladly agrees.

She explores these so-called "instances" alongside them, always giving them the gentlest support and encouragement.

But why is it that whenever they reach the [Defeat the Final Boss] stage, they stare at the top of her head with expressions of shock, confusion, dawning realization, heartbreak, and pain... and then decide they don't want to leave?

But once they've run out of points, they're no use to her anymore.

Sigh. Time to wait for a new husband.

-

The players who make it to the final instance, [The One], are the cream of the crop.

Clearing this instance means escaping the cycle and returning to the real world.

But they never expected to be assigned a wife upon entering the instance.

The players are wary and scornful: What wife? It's just an instance's scheme! A monster's trick!

But then they see her...

Gentle and harmless, pure and beautiful, as if she were the embodiment of everything good in the world.

Player:

System! Hurry and bind me to her! This is my wife!

My beautiful, delicate wife, who desperately needs me to save her!

For their wives, players don't hesitate to spend points on all kinds of useless pretty things: cola, fried chicken, expensive dresses, and the bright moonlight their wives love...

But what does any of that matter? Most importantly, how can their wives be trapped in such a remote little town for the rest of their lives?

They'll clear the instance and take their wives out into the real world!

So the players work hard to clear one stage after another.

Finally, it's time to fight the final boss. Huh?

Wait, wait... Why is my wife's health bar lit up?!
