Miss Detective Aphrodite [Nineteenth Century]

[Mystery and deduction, no fantasy elements, no golden fingers]

The author just wants to write a good, pure mystery novel!

-

Afra transmigrates to nineteenth-century London, the foggy city. She isn't a noblewoman and has no golden finger, inheriting only the detective agency her father left behind.

Not particularly confident in her own intelligence, Afra plans to sell the agency and find work as a factory girl. But then a client comes to her door...

I haven't quite figured out the blurb yet. Anyway, it takes place in Victorian London, the foggy city. No high-tech devices, just pure deduction to solve cases!

CP: A rookie detective who attracts murders wherever she goes, like the Grim Reaper, * a down-on-his-luck but still irritable, cocky, and entitled trainee police inspector. (The detective is absent-minded but has a keen instinct for murder cases; the inspector is reckless but truly beautiful.)

Heavy on deduction and plot, light on romance.

...Sob, this is such an obscure genre... but I really want to write it!

Help me out by adding it to your favorites, dears! I think I'm pretty good at deduction! (Let's make a deal: I'll start writing the day it reaches 300 favorites!)

Theme: There is only ever one truth!
