Chi Mian hung up and looked up. On rainy Gloucester Road, a familiar car was parked not far away. Even the license plate was the same as it had been ten years ago.
Only the handsome, cool boy in his memory had become "President Jin," dressed in a suit.
The man got out of the car, eyes bloodshot as he stared at Chi Mian with a dark, menacing look.
He seemed afraid to come closer. His voice caught in his throat before he rasped, "Mianmian."
Chi Mian recognized his good buddy at a glance and ran straight into his childhood friend's arms. "Bro!"

Though ten years had passed in the blink of an eye, Chi Mian adjusted to his new situation just fine.
He went home with Jin Congze and moved into his mansion in Kensington.
His childhood friend gave him anything he wanted, and Chi Mian was waited on hand and foot. He was having the time of his life.
But before long, Chi Mian started feeling sick and nauseous, and his figure began to change.

The room was dimly lit, and a chill brushed his ankle. The man beside him had shed his gentle, refined facade. His eyes were bloodshot, his expression sinister and terrifying.
Long fingers traced Chi Mian's profile and lifted his chin.
In the man's other hand was Chi Mian's pregnancy test report.
His voice was icy and almost deranged. "Tell me, what is this?"
