Ying Sheng was admitted to the 212th District Joint Military Academy with the highest score on the written exam. He was a seed planted by the organization, and was supposed to keep a low profile.
Then, just before he was due to give a speech on behalf of the new students, he accidentally broke his glasses. The culprit met his eyes and immediately dropped to his knees, saying he would atone with his life.
Ying Sheng panicked inwardly and looked around desperately for help, but everyone remained unmoved.
He calmly dealt with the incident and gave his speech. It wasn't until he stepped offstage that some reluctant applause finally began.
At lunchtime, the cafeteria was packed. Ying Sheng was the only person sitting alone at a six-person table. His classmates preferred to stand and wait for someone to finish eating rather than even glance at the empty seats beside him. Everyone had unanimously ignored him.
Reviewing the day's events, Ying Sheng realized, bewildered and confused, that everyone hated him.
Members of the organization never cry. He decided to be the one to ostracize everyone else.
From the others' perspective:
The arrogant Alpha was unmoved by the culprit's apology. His expression practically screamed, "Atone with your life," and he coldly surveyed everyone, warning them not to interfere.
The Alpha's overwhelming presence radiated murderous intent as he finished his speech. He swept the audience with a contemptuous gaze, gave a disdainful sneer, and turned to leave the stage.
The Alpha deigned to sit on a metal stool at a six-person table on the cafeteria's first floor. He arrogantly scrutinized everyone to decide who was worthy of sitting beside him. In the end, no one measured up. Deeply disappointed, he swept out.
