This is an ABO melodrama, combining a host of dramatic tropes: a substitute bride, a stand-in for the first love, a fake young master and a real one, love by force, and a kept lover.
The uke protagonist is the real young master who was switched at birth, a poor little thing made to take the fake young master's place in an arranged marriage. He ultimately becomes a stand-in for the seme's first love, whom the seme ruthlessly claims for himself.
The villainous supporting character, the fake young master, is Zhou Zaibi's boss, Du Xiaonian.
The seme protagonist is his boss's arch-enemy, Gu Huaiyi.
Naturally, the ending is a happy one for the true-love protagonist couple, while the villainous supporting character Du Xiaonian loses everything and dies a miserable death.
Zhou Zaibi knows nothing about any of this. All he knows is that the world has changed, he's a Beta, and his boss is an Omega.
To escape the marriage, his boss has now shut down the company and wants to run off with nothing but the clothes on his back, without taking Zhou Zaibi along. Because...
