After five years, Que Zhongjing finally molded him into someone to his liking. He personally ground down Xu Congqing's sharp teeth, until all that was left when he bit was a burning, perfect fit.

Xu Congqing knew this marriage was nothing more than a "memorial offering."

He didn't resist being bound to this relationship, and he could hardly be called disobedient, but he wanted to escape. He always had.

But Xu Congqing had never planned to divorce Que Zhongjing.

Que Huiling's unrelated little dad had married his own uncle.

So he was supposed to change the way he addressed him and call him "little aunt."

On the first day of his return, the family elder pointed at Xu Congqing and told him, "From now on, you call him little aunt."

Que Huiling looked at him, raised an eyebrow, and said nothing. Que Zhongjing didn't care about his rudeness and ignored it.

Xu Congqing didn't care either, until he accidentally bumped into someone that night and heard a voice say, "Long time no see, little dad?"

Xu Congqing hadn't seen him in five years. Looking at that obedient face, he could still recognize the familiar features, so he smiled faintly.

Que Huiling seemed much more well-behaved and docile at night than during the day. Maybe it was because there were more people around in the daytime.

Xu Congqing went back to his room once again with red eyes. He unexpectedly met Que Huiling's gaze and, after a moment of shock, said in a cool voice, "Get out."

Instead, Que Huiling stepped closer, looking down at him. At last, he smiled, then turned and strode away.

Xu Congqing finally had a huge fight with Que Zhongjing. He was furious, but had no fight left in him.

He wasn't drunk, but when someone pinned him down against the table, his eyes went hazy. Xu Congqing saw who it was.

Que Huiling pinned both his wrists and, after biting him, told him, "Little dad. You should get a divorce."

Xu Congqing called him crazy.

Que Huiling only traced his features tenderly, speaking with relish. "Every time you come back from him, your eyes are red. Have you been crying? Or does it hurt?"

Que Huiling said, "Your eyes are red now, too."

Xu Congqing didn't want a divorce, but he couldn't take any more of Que Zhongjing's torment.

Que Zhongjing easily saw that something was wrong. When Xu Congqing made it clear he had given up on escaping, Que Zhongjing once again tormented him with vicious abandon.

"What was the first thing I taught you?"

"Not to say one thing and do another..." Xu Congqing drew a quick breath and begged, "I haven't."

Que Zhongjing gave a laugh, without a trace of tenderness, and lifted his face. "You haven't."
