Tezuka Surrounded by Tezuka Fangirls

Tennis, fishing, studying, and family: Tezuka considers all of these to be the most important things in his life.

Of them all, tennis matters most, especially since he decided he wanted to become Seigaku's pillar.

Through tennis, he met many companions who wanted to walk alongside him and aim for the national tournament together. He also encountered many opponents worthy of his respect.

Tezuka was actually quite happy when his friends and rivals wanted to play against him. He never showed his joy, but playing against opponents of similar ability helped him improve a great deal.

Determined to get better, Tezuka worked hard every day with his teammates' help, while dodging the mean-spirited attacks of his seniors.

Little by little, he really did become Seigaku's "pillar," as well as an opponent many of his peers wanted to defeat.

But lately, he'd noticed that the teammates around him and the opponents who wanted to challenge him were acting strangely.

"Do you like me or not?" Did they mean whether he liked their style of tennis?

"Every style of tennis is unique. I don't have a particular favorite."

That was how he answered them at the time.

He thought his answer showed respect for everyone's tennis, but then he unexpectedly heard people sigh.

Oh. So they were asking who he wanted to be with...

Huh?
