Excerpt 1:

Tongtian, a famous lover of fluffy things, thrill seeker, exotic pet enthusiast, ecologist, botanist, zoologist, and educator in the Primordial World, had many great achievements in his life. His one and only mistake was picking up Bige, who tricked him with his chubby baby belly, when he was young and naive.

"What?! I'm going to throw a tantrum! Hurry up and say I'm your favorite!" Bige couldn't stand people calling him a liar. It was clearly the man in front of him who got obsessed with his chubby little belly and brought him home. His mom, the Heavenly Dao, never said he couldn't have a pet!

Excerpt 2:

The little Bige Tongtian brought home was the cutest creature in the world. Look at that chubby little belly! Listen to those adorable little breathing sounds!

Tongtian clutched his chest dramatically: "Oh, he's just too adorable!"

Even Yuanshi had to admit the little thing in front of him was unbearably cute!

But for the sake of his image, he still had to say, "Don't neglect your cultivation for the sake of a pet!"

Then he secretly reached out and rubbed Bige's round little belly.

Laozi watched his two younger brothers with an easy smile and gave his hearty approval: "Good!"

But as little Bige grew bigger, everyone's attitude began to change...

Tongtian clutched Bige and roared at the top of his lungs, "What are you eating? Spit it out, right now!" Digging, digging, digging.

Yuanshi: "Today we're studying moral precepts~"

Bige kicked his feet up: "Wer wer wer wer, what are you saying? Bige can't hear you!"

Laozi pulled the horsetail whisk out of Bige's mouth and said, "Good." (In a weak and helpless voice.)

That day, Gonggong accidentally stepped on Bige's favorite toy and covered his face, weeping. "Sob, sob, I'm a sinner against the entire Wu Clan! Sob, sob!" Before he could finish, Bige's werwerwer werwerwer werwerwer rang throughout the Primordial World, echoing for three days without end.

Zhao Yu said, "I'm never staying up late again. I feel like I'm about to drop dead!"

Then Zhao Yu stayed up late and died suddenly. When he awoke, he discovered that he had transmigrated to ancient times and been reborn into a prestigious family as its youngest son.

Then: "What?! I've become illiterate? I'm already ready to give up, and now you want me to go to school!"

He'd planned to spend this life with clothes put on for him and food brought to him, living the lazy life of a couch potato. But then a treasure suddenly appeared, and he was dragged into a little black room for lessons. On top of all that, his big brother made sure he studied.

He could put up with learning the Four Books and Five Classics in ancient times, but who goes to school only to encounter strange animals every day?

Talking foxes, weasels who demanded noble titles halfway through the road, and a giant turtle repaying an old kindness gradually shattered Zhao Yu's worldview.

He never expected that he had landed in the world of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio. One classmate after another had a more bizarre experience than the last. The utterly ordinary Zhao Yu could only keep lying down and getting back up amid all this melodrama, trying to survive, his mental state getting more beautiful by the day.
