He stayed up all night reading the novel just to find out, and after falling asleep, opened his eyes to discover he had transmigrated into this melodramatic book.
According to the original plot, he loves the female lead, the female lead loves the male lead, the male lead loves his unattainable first love, and the first love loves Shu Yanzhi.

According to the demands of System 972464, he can return home once he completes the original plot. So Shu Yanzhi diligently follows the main storyline, only to discover that all the plot points originally meant for the female lead have landed on him instead!!!

The real problem is that the male and female leads barely know each other in the story, while the pink bubbles between him and the male lead keep multiplying.
Though Shu Yanzhi feels something is off, he can only keep following the plot if he wants to get home sooner. Halfway through, he unexpectedly discovers in the System's space that the book he transmigrated into is a pirated plagiarized novel. The plagiarist altered the original plot into a BL/GL story. In the pirated version, he and the male lead are a couple, while the female lead and the first love are a couple.
