In a dim alley, Eri Kaoru knew there was nowhere to run. She leaned weakly against the wall, letting blood seep from the corner of her mouth as she awaited judgment from the person whose life she'd made miserable.

But to her surprise, the blond man gathered all his strength and held her in his trembling arms. Two cold tears fell onto her neck. His hot breath drew closer and closer, but in the end, it became a restrained kiss, gently wiping the blood from the corner of her mouth.
