[Duke's Daughter × Holy Knight]
Aivey, born into a family of doctors, transmigrates to another world on a medieval continent and becomes the highly sought-after daughter of a duke.
Unfortunately, things go terribly wrong from the start: while fleeing her arranged marriage, the duke's daughter is ambushed and falls off a cliff. After waking, Aivey happens to save a mysterious man. She hears he is the most elusive bounty hunter on the black market, hired by nobles to hunt down their enemies and eliminate rivals.
As it happens, Aivey is one of his targets.
Not long after, the grateful man escorts her home. The bounty hunter transforms into her personal knight, responsible for her safety. From Clarence to Gloucester, the bond between them grows stronger through their many adventures.
Just as they grow closer, her fiance appears, and he does not seem to mind at all that Aivey previously ran away from their wedding.
To prove her abilities and help more people, Aivey puts her medical talents to use as she travels from place to place, with her knight always by her side.
Just as Aivey prepares to confess her feelings, the knight disappears without a word. When he reappears, he has become Louis, the crown prince of a neighboring kingdom.
A furious Aivey says, “Stop bothering me. Not a single word you say is true.”
The man drops to one knee and gently kisses the back of her hand, observing every courtesy of a gentleman. “I am His Highness Louis to everyone else, but I am Zero, the knight who belongs only to you.”
The story is set in a fictional Western world, inspired by medieval Europe.
The heroine transmigrates from another world. She has no golden finger and no cheats, relying entirely on her own medical knowledge to win others over.
The hero hides his identity to escape being hunted by his people. After making a deal with the duke, he becomes the heroine's personal knight.
Theme: Forge through the brambles and live toward the sun.
I feel like I died young 🤔
Haha, I'm back to reading again. I didn't expect this book to be finished. It's so good that I'm going to finish it straight away. Although the writing is really good in the front, why is it like this in the back? I think Caesar shouldn't be like this. According to what the author said before, Caesar is a cold-faced and soft-hearted person. Shouldn't being soft-hearted be a blessing to Ivy and Zero? It's good enough to see the people you like live happily and give blessings, but forcing Ivy to do so will make her unhappy. Since you are soft-hearted and since you love, you should not make the person you love unhappy! Caesar has read countless people, so he shouldn't know this, right? I also think that Caesar is the one with the highest IQ and understanding of people in the book. Many things can be controlled by him, even Zero can't compare with him. That's what I thought in the early stage. In the later stage, when I saw him being forcibly reduced to intelligence, I was dumbfounded. Did he directly become a Western-style overlord? Zero is also very OOC, and later on he becomes a domineering boss. However, I generally don't pay attention to the male lead and the protagonist. My personal hobby is to watch the supporting characters. I still like Zero and Ivy, so I won't say more about this. Also, Ruby is cute, he is really cute, a silly guy who is funny and sunny! Apart from Caesar, my favorite in the whole book is Ruby. His character is not broken. It's great. When I see the person I like and Zero together, I choose to bless and protect him. Although I personally hope that he will not join the establishment and continue to roam freely outside. I feel that this is more suitable for him haha.
It's a bit uncomfortable to watch, both the male and female actors are too much. It tortures the heroine and also tortures me as a reader. When the female protagonist was tricked by the male protagonist into gaining his kingdom, the emotional change was so sudden and unreasonable. How could it be so easy to forgive a person who destroyed everything he had learned all his life and devoted almost everything to his faith? It felt like it was the foundation of the heroine's footing in a different world and a symbol of her spirit. The heroine's character is broken, the male protagonist seems to be upset, and the second male lead seems to be upset as well. What a crazy world [question mark][question mark][question mark]
"Dozens of people were sent with murderous intent..." This is a big bug for the author~ murderous intent-killer
"The news about Ivy here is complete..." This is a big bug for the author~ Save your life - keep it secret
Hahaha, two idiots got together to give birth to a litter of idiots. It made me laugh to death.
Nice! Love watching! I hope there will be more chapters 🐰
Is it speculated that Ivy and I will be secretly exchanged? But Zero should be able to spot the fake immediately [question mark]
Is the teacher more accustomed to writing in ancient style? Although it is a Western fantasy, some of the wording can reveal some hand-loving influences from the ancient background.
I finished it in one go. I haven't seen such an palatable Western fantasy for a long time. I thought about how the author proposed to choose the male protagonist. I think the best thing is that Ivy returns to modern times. Hahaha, she is sensible enough and independent enough, but she is also a kind-hearted doctor and an ordinary person of flesh and blood. Caesar and Zero's three views are not completely consistent with her. People like Ivy who can shine everywhere may be more comfortable and able to fully bloom themselves in the modern society where everyone is equal (but considering that Ivy died suddenly at work, maybe I should think more about it, look away...), I am still the male protagonist. I prefer Zero. Firstly, I like knight-type male protagonists. Secondly, Zero understands Ivy's nature and supports Ivy's decision. Whether as a knight, friend or secret admirer, he has done just the right thing. He has been protective of Ivy (although this is not difficult to understand), and the heavy burden he carries makes him unable to complete it. Quan expressed his feelings. Although saying goodbye without saying goodbye made Ivy really angry, I still hope that they can understand each other: Ivy is angry and sad because she is not trusted and worried about Zero. Zero chooses to leave without saying goodbye out of protection and love. In essence, they are thinking about each other, but they lack some communication. Caesar is a king with an iron fist. I personally think Ivy is suitable to be a friend with whom he can chat easily and a minister who can advise him, but she is not suitable to be his queen. The resistance of free will shown by Ivy may not be acceptable to Caesar. But I saw that Ivy actually dreamed of being healed by Zero in modern times. Doesn't that mean that there are actually zero peers in modern times!! Then can my CP also be able to he in modern times?
