You have amnesia.
You have a fiance who loves you very much. He is handsome, gentle, and considerate. He knows everything about you and takes care of your daily life with understanding and patience, hoping you'll recover. He shows you boundless devotion and love.
You live a happy life together, your souls in harmony. Whether it's your taste in movies, your music preferences, or the way you are in bed, everything between you is a perfect fit. You are utterly convinced that you are a match made in heaven. Surely your life together was just as sweet before, and will remain sweet forever.
Until someone who looks exactly like your husband comes to your door.
He says, "You don't recognize me? You mistook my younger brother for me?"

The first time Ke Chen saw you was in a photo posted on the social media feed of his older brother, Ke Ran, whom he hadn't seen in years.
You were reading, your fingers resting unconsciously on a coffee cup. The photographer seemed to say something to you, so you looked up and smiled softly at them, replying to what they'd said.
An inexplicable impulse seized Ke Chen's entire being. He found your social media account: the photos and articles you'd posted online, your reading notes, and the record of your relationship with his brother, Ke Ran. As he read these trivial details, a passion rose within him, almost hot enough to burn him to ashes. For the first time in his life, he wanted so desperately to have you. Staring at his brother's face in a photo of you as a couple, Ke Chen thought, obsessed and bewildered: If he can have you, then so can I.
That impulse eventually became reality. When you opened your dazed eyes and the doctor explained your amnesia, Ke Chen showed you a photo of yourself with his older brother, Ke Ran. As evidence, he told you that before you lost your memory, you and he had been engaged and deeply in love. Even after you lost your memory, he desperately wanted to rekindle your relationship. His heart had always been filled with passionate love for you. Every day, he had longed for you to wake up, so the two of you could go on living happily together, just as before.

You jolt awake from a dream, clammy and drenched in cold sweat. Instinctively, you reach for the hand beside you, trying to feel its warmth and calm your heart.
The man beside you places a hand on your shoulder. His voice is soft and slow. He kisses the side of your ear and asks, "What is it? Were you thinking about my younger brother again? What did he do to you in your dream?"
You feel as though you've fallen into an icy abyss.
