A short story with a realistic feel.
One-line summary: "Don't believe any story. Just believe that you have to keep living well."
A sharp-tongued, tough-talking, straight-talking delinquent who says one thing but does another, paired with a sensitive, jealous, fragile-hearted prodigy.
"I once swore I'd make something of myself!"
"I'm an orphan. I started wandering around when I was very young, and everyone around me called me 'dead wild brat.' Later, when they did a census and I had to put down a name for myself, I didn't know any other characters and couldn't be bothered to ask someone to come up with one for me. So I just thought, what the hell, I'll call myself 'Si Ye.' But the old lady registering names said 'dead' was a bad character, and no wild kid would pick that kind of surname for themselves. She said to change it to the 'Si' in 'driver,' and that's how I got my name."
Theme: Cherish life, love living, and keep striving
