The Underworld Household Registration Center, or UHR for short, is the workplace ghosts aspire to join most.
Its duties include registering and managing ghost households, counting and analyzing the ghost population, and providing consultation services to Underworld residents.
Of course, ghosts don't aspire to join because of those mundane duties. It's mainly because the department has great benefits.
One of the UHR's divisions is the Mobile Ghost Population Management Section.
As everyone knows, the dead are supposed to report to the Underworld. But while they were alive, no one was taught how to find the way there, so even after dying, they often take a wrong turn and fail to register in the Underworld, instead wandering around the world.
The Mobile Ghost Population Management Section's job is to bring these unregistered wandering spirits back to the Underworld after receiving complaints from the living, then make sure their household registrations are in order.
The bailiff Xiang Guan never had any dreams. When he was alive, his greatest wish was to live off the fat of the land until he died.
