When Mu Tingci was ten, his sponsor brought him to his new home, where there was a five-year-old girl.

Her name was Gu Fei. She wore her hair in a neat little bun, had round eyes, and skin as white as a porcelain doll's.

He came from a remote mountain village. He had never seen such a beautiful child, or one so pampered.

She would deliberately mess up her bedroom, then angrily demand that he clean it up himself. She was also a picky eater, and would dump the green peppers and carrots she hated into his bowl.

Gu Fei never called him “big brother.” Though she claimed to hate him most of all, she'd climb into his bed to listen to bedtime stories and make him forge their aunt's signature on her failed tests.

Mu Tingci thought she was just stubborn, and that she actually liked him as her “maidservant” big brother.

But at her eighteenth birthday party, Gu Fei pushed Mu Tingci into a corner.

She was drunk, her face flushed as she rubbed her nose against his like a kitten.

“Mu Tingci... I like you so much.”

It seemed the little sister he'd raised had gotten the better of him.

Gu Fei thought she'd hidden her feelings well. She planned to do something inappropriate with him as soon as she came of age.

But after her confession was rejected, she chose to study abroad, all the while keeping tabs on him. Her always well-behaved big brother had entered show business and become a famous actor.

But after all this time, his eyes were still so clear.

She didn't like how innocent he was, and decided to drag him down with her.

“Big brother, you're terrible at kissing!”

Mu Tingci was as easy to bully as ever. She thought she had all the control, but she never saw the frenzied eyes watching her from the darkness.

On the day of her arranged date, Gu Fei had just picked up her teacup when a tall figure appeared beside her.

The famous actor's arrival drew everyone's attention. Mu Tingci took her teacup and said in a low, distant voice:

“Can't a big brother check out his little sister's date for her?”

1. Both leads are each other's only partner, 1v1, happy ending.

2. The heroine is a little wicked and doesn't have a particularly strong moral compass. This isn't a strong, independent heroine story, so don't read if that's not your thing.

3. The hero never had a single improper thought about her while she was underage. He really was very well-behaved back then.
