Oh No! I'm Pregnant with the Depressed Movie Star's Baby

A depressed actor as the top and a carefree, cheerful farmer as the bottom

He Yu was the youngest actor ever to win all three major awards. With breathtaking looks and god-tier acting, he was a deity in the eyes of countless fans.

Yet one day, he suddenly announced his retirement and walked away from the acting career he loved.

One day, as he passed a blazing-red orange grove, he was dazzled by the view, got out of his car, and picked an orange.

He had only just begun to peel it when a man's lazy voice came from the grove: "The oranges on that tree aren't sweet enough. The ones on that tree are sweeter."

A young man wearing a straw hat, a torn tank top, dirty pants, and flip-flops ambled over to the supposedly sweeter tree, picked an orange, and tossed it to him.

"Try it."

He Yu broke off a segment and put it in his mouth. Sweet, refreshing juice instantly filled his mouth. It really was sweet.

The young man smiled, showing his white teeth. "Take a few more if you like. They're free."

But He Yu replied with a question of his own: "Are you hiring?"

The young man paused for a moment, then smiled. "Sure."

Li Ci had loved an actor from the day he first performed, through the day he became a winner of all three major awards. He had never missed any of his movies or a single step of his growth.

Li Ci thought he would keep acting forever, while Li Ci would go on quietly loving him.

Then one day, he retired and appeared outside Li Ci's orchard.

He'd lost a lot of weight, unhappiness filled his eyes, and his whole being radiated depression.

Li Ci picked him the sweetest orange, hoping it would cheer him up a little.

Just a little more.

But Li Ci never expected him to stay.

Li Ci was so happy that every day he racked his brains trying to cheer him up.

He hoped that one day his moon would return to the stars, even if their meeting was only brief.

But one morning, Li Ci woke to find the bed in disarray and was completely stunned.

Had he'd been slept with? But he hadn't meant to give himself to anyone.

Give me back my innocence!

Two months later, Li Ci suddenly threw up. A hospital check revealed he was pregnant!

Li Ci's whole world came crashing down!

Getting slept with wasn't enough, now he had to have his baby?

Was there no justice in the world?

He Yu carefully held him. "It's all right. I'll take responsibility for you and our child."

No one knew that on that day, he stood at the edge of a cliff of despair, having decided to take the final step into the abyss. The fiery oranges and Li Ci's radiant smile made him put his plan on hold and return to the world of the living.
