The Expert Doesn't Seem Quite Right

Fu Zhaoyu x Xue Chuyuan

Naive, tragic beauty with hidden strength, top x smooth, roguish charmer, bottom

The Anomaly Management Bureau hired an expert. The first time Xue Chuyuan met him, the expert was sitting in a wheelchair, looking sickly. His dark, striking eyes lifted slightly, and he gave Xue Chuyuan a lazy glance. His calm, empty gaze was not the sort of look one gave a living person.

Their colleagues gathered around the handsome expert, fussing over him and asking after his health.

But Xue Chuyuan could smell the heavy aura of evil and death on him.

It was nothing like the aura of an ordinary monster or human.

Xue Chuyuan argued his case, but to no avail. The bureau insisted on keeping this clearly unusual expert.

Xue Chuyuan was going to find out exactly what this expert was.

On the first day, he discovered the expert's legs were perfectly fine. He used a wheelchair simply because he was lazy, and was very practiced at ordering people to push him around.

On the second day, he discovered that the expert had no common sense at all, like a monster from deep in the mountains who had never seen the world.

On the thirtieth day, he discovered that the expert was a reckless madman who would drag his long, blood-soaked hair across the ground and walk into his home every month on the fifteenth.

On the nth day, he discovered that he was the real madman. He had fallen for the expert.
