Intruding on a Beautiful Night

▼ Rental-apartment setting + rough-around-the-edges romance | Female lead, male lead is a virgin | Sex first, love later

Xu Chuang's roommate has an online girlfriend who's a master's student.

His roommate shows them her photos as if they were some prized possession. The slender woman in a white dress catches Xu Chuang's eye.

They arrange to meet at the university district. Xu Chuang isn't even scheduled to work, but somehow he follows his roommate there anyway.

Then his roommate has something come up at the last minute and asks him to explain things to her.

The woman has a cool, refined air about her, and her voice is as pleasant as a spring.

"Liu... Chuanming?"

Xu Chuang struggles to swallow the excuse he'd prepared in advance.

Blushing, he nods.

The most outrageous thing he's ever done is pretend to be his roommate.

Li Lie doesn't know who she slept with. All she knows is that this dark-skinned college boy comes over every night to sleep with her.

Xu Chuang doesn't know why the elegant, moonlit Li Lie smokes and drinks in private, either.

He just wants her to eat a little more. She's too thin.

"I told him to stay, but he said the wheat back home still hadn't been harvested."

*Stand-up comedian x younger, rough-around-the-edges, dark-skinned puppy-like guy

*Master's student x junior college graduate (not really)

*In a way, it's about 'pressuring an honest man into being the other woman'

*The title comes from 'Do not go gentle into that good night'
