On a freezing winter night, the little cat chose to sleep beside the baby so they could keep each other warm.

Surprise: the baby was a half-demon child from a great demon's family, who had turned back into a human on the new moon.

The little cat had saved the child and earned great merit. The great white dog clan adopted her, and from then on she lived in luxury.

It turned out that adoption even came with aftercare. After the little cat died, the great demon and the miko Hitomi worked together: one contributed his demon bloodline, and the other used her spiritual power to awaken the little cat's intelligence, allowing her to be reborn as a cat demon.

As the world's first cat demon to receive the bloodline of the demon world's overlord and have her intelligence awakened by a miko, she was truly blessed with incredible luck. Not only was her reincarnation successful, she was also born with spiritual power and could freely switch between human and cat forms.

However, because the little cat wasn't a pureblood great demon by birth, she could only become a long-lived species, not an immortal one. Her lifespan was limited, and she grew so quickly as a kitten that the miko Hitomi worried she might end up with only an ordinary human lifespan.

But there was no need to worry about someone so lucky. At the age of five, she was picked up by the Government of Time and Space, and found a way to become a long-lived species herself.

Coser Kashiyama Rei was a huge fan of Gojo Satoru's looks, so when his roommate invited him to cosplay the trio of Gojo, Geto, and Shoko, he happily agreed. He was having a grand time cosplaying a certain obnoxious big cat, but the moment he walked into the convention, he transmigrated.

At first, he didn't realize he'd transmigrated. He just stared blankly at a roomful of unfamiliar old fossils until the System in his head spoke up:

The bad news: I've become Gojo Satoru's substitute. The System pulled me in at the last minute because the real one ran away.

And so Kashiyama Rei occasionally took Gojo Satoru's place in the story. When he took Gojo's place and entered the Prison Realm, he thought the story was over, since he'd only watched the anime. He'd done his job, so he could pack up and go home.

He hadn't expected the anime to cover less than half the manga. After learning what came next inside the Prison Realm, Kashiyama Rei finally began to panic. But he wasn't worried about whether he'd have to take Gojo's place in the tragic events ahead.

He was thinking: So even the strongest can be killed?

The first time Gojo Satoru saw Kashiyama Rei, he knew that everything the old fossils in his family said was bullshit. Two Six Eyes could clearly exist in the world. Otherwise, was this guy a ghost?

A Six Eyes user this dumb was a rare sight. Oh, well, I'm the strongest! One Six Eyes is enough for me.

The Government of Time and Space fought with the neighboring Chaldea every day to recruit powerful people. This time, after finally managing to bring one over at just the right moment, they hadn't even had a chance to get their new powerhouse settled in, but the fact that they'd beaten Chaldea already had them feeling triumphant.

As it happened, a new version of the game used to recruit masters in the present world was about to be released, so one of the Government's employees went there.

But as soon as the employee opened a rift between worlds, they sensed an extremely powerful but unstable spiritual aura, much like that of a powerhouse in their youth.

No employee of the Government could resist the temptation. Following the source of the spiritual aura, they found only a little black cat fast asleep. But the Government, eager to raise a powerhouse of its own, whisked the little black cat away without hesitation.

And so, when little black cat Tsukimigari Hana woke up, she had become the Government of Time and Space's new master.

[From the Honmaru's Perspective]

The previous master had worked for the Government for ten years, saved enough money for retirement, and quit to return to his hometown and get married. The Honmaru's future had become uncertain.

The few sword warriors who had arrived at the Honmaru as secondhand blades were relatively calm, like Yamanbagiri Kunihiro.

But several less experienced sword warriors had been crying for days. Tomoegata naginata had even thrown himself into the sword-breaking pool on the very day the master left, scaring the short blades half to death.

Just as the sword warriors were preparing to accept their fate and be reclaimed, they received good news: a new master was coming to inspect the Honmaru!

But on the day Konnosuke announced the inspection, the sword warriors dressed up to welcome their new master. They waited from morning until night, but no one came. They only found an unfamiliar little black cat in a corner.

They'd thought the master had stood them up, but Konnosuke said the master was very pleased with the inspection results and would soon take over the Honmaru.

Huh? So the master that day was a little cat!

Geto's Perspective:

My classmate's brain is broken.

Suguru Geto was absolutely certain that Gojo's brain was broken.

Because after Gojo Satoru learned the Reverse Cursed Technique, he didn't care at all about Riko's life or death.

High School Geto had already been beaten half to death by Toji. Even after being brought back to full health, he was caught by Gojo and couldn't break free at all.

He was kissed nearly to the point of suffocation, yet still couldn't push Gojo Satoru away. High School Geto felt like his own brain was about to break, too.

So High School Geto was certain that his classmate's brain was broken.

Gojo's Perspective:

In his previous life, his brain must have been broken to let Geto go. He should have knocked him out and locked him up when they broke up as rookies. Then Geto wouldn't have been so disobedient and run off to become a cult leader.

If he wanted money, he could just ask. Gojo could give him the entire Gojo family.

Who could understand the devastation of being forced to kill his best friend with his own hands?
