Blood and Fire Under the Ominous Moon [Genshin Impact]

On the first day Liliya was brought to the House of the Hearth, the children there bullied her. They forced her to drink Pyro Regisvine sap, just because her adoptive father was a Treasure Hoarder scoundrel.

But then a hand reached out to shield her. When the naughty children saw who it belonged to, they fell silent in fear.

In that moment, Liliya realized she was the mistress of the House of the Hearth, and the "Father" of every child there.

Liliya tried to imitate the way a "family member" would speak, timidly calling her "Father." The servants turned in surprise, while the corners of Arlecchino's lips lifted in an elegant, composed smile that Liliya would never forget.

When the other children spoke of "Father" behind her back, with either resentment or fondness, Liliya secretly called her by her name in her heart.

Arlecchino.

In some unknown corner, Liliya's gaze would follow the Knave, and she would call her name in her heart thousands upon thousands of times. Her heart beat with joy, longing for just one more glance. Just one.

When the black moon was consumed by the raging flames, and Arlecchino once again suffered the erosion of her bloodline, Liliya gathered her courage, knelt beside the Knave, and looked up at her. "Father, please let me help you..."

Arlecchino: "?"
