I'm Waiting to Die. What Are You Waiting For?

(The blurb and title may still be revised.)

Hu Rang was sickly from childhood, and everyone said he wouldn’t live past eighteen. But Hu Rang was never worried, because he had transmigrated.

According to the setup, after he died, he would be bound to a System. Once he completed his missions, he could come back to life.

Then he became the old man in Liu Duchuan’s ring.

He gave him treasures and cultivation techniques, acted as his bodyguard, and finally died protecting Liu Duchuan.

Then he came back to life, reincarnating into the body of the enemy who had killed him.

By then, Liu Duchuan was at his door with a sword, ready to avenge him. Before Hu Rang could explain, the sword pierced his heart.

He had just come back to life, and now he was dead again.

After dying three times, Hu Rang was reborn at eighteen. This time, he’d given up. He decided not to bind himself to a System and to wait for death in peace.

But what was going on with Liu Duchuan? Hu Rang was waiting to die, but what was Liu Duchuan waiting for?

·

In his previous life, Liu Duchuan personally killed his enemy, only for a System to suddenly appear and tell him that the enemy he’d just killed was actually his Rangrang.

When he learned the truth, he broke down and turned dark, cultivating his way to the top with only one goal: to turn the tide of fate.

He succeeded and returned to a time when Hu Rang was still alive.
