Hotarumaru's Expedition Journal

[What Should I Do After Suddenly Turning from a Sword into a Saniwa?] [Main story complete] [If you're interested, take a look at the upcoming titles in my collection] As fewer and fewer humans choose to become Saniwa, the government is desperately short-staffed. To fill the vacancies, Hotarumaru becomes one of the first sword warriors to successfully take office as a Saniwa. But the time-space transporter malfunctions. Whenever this Honmaru goes on expeditions, it often ends up in worlds outside the course of history. To survive in other worlds and complete their missions, Hotarumaru and his companions have no choice but to take on all kinds of bizarre secret identities: For instance, infiltrating the Moon Demon Company’s Unit One with a "tragic backstory"; the mysterious idol group AWT48, which somehow manages to debut... However, as the investigation deepens, the truth behind the events turns out to be far more complicated than Hotarumaru imagined. Behind the unfamiliar memories lies a truth that has been erased. Another version of himself from a parallel world sends Hotarumaru an invitation. Can he find the one correct path among countless branches of history? World order: Seraph of the End (introducing the setting) - Witch (introducing the main plot) - Detective Conan (advancing the main plot) - Honkai: Star Rail (the truth arc). Content warnings: Some elements of the Touken Ranbu setting are changed for this story. I have tried to minimize OOC characterization, but it is unavoidable. Includes corruption plotlines. The first half is more slice-of-life; the main plot in the second half may have a little angst. The ending is a thoroughly happy one. Thanks for all your support, coworkers! Random bonus chapters will be posted after completion. The story about the other Hotarumaru is in another book in this series, listed below among the upcoming titles. [Upcoming] Cosplaying as Hotarumaru and Suddenly Appearing at the Gate of a Wandering Honmaru A player has spent eight years playing a certain PPT game. One day, they decide to cosplay as their favorite character at a convention. Taking the character design and height into account, the player makes a bold on-the-spot redesign, planning to cosplay as Hotarumaru after his transformation into an army of time. To avoid acting out of character, the player even invents a complete backstory for him. As everyone knows, convention entrances are hotspots for transmigration incidents. The very moment the player gets their hands on the soda they bought, they transmigrate to the year 2205 AD with all their gear. Then, staring at the now-physical game System and the suspiciously realistic gate of the wandering Honmaru, the plastic bottle in the player's hand explodes. All they remember is a warm, slightly viscous liquid splattering across their face. Fortunately, the setting the player came up with is detailed enough to help them successfully blend into the wandering Honmaru. They even manage to bring a whole group of sword warriors to tears. As time passes, the player suddenly realizes that all the sword warriors think they're crazy, while they alone insist they're a human who accidentally transmigrated at a convention. But little by little, their confidence starts to waver, and the boundary between falsehood and reality begins to crumble. Can an ordinary person skillfully wield an odachi? Can an ordinary person have reflexes and combat instincts on par with sword warriors? Why do they have a stress response whenever they see vines? And... am "I" really a player? Was the thing I was holding really a plastic soda bottle? Theme: A family should always stay together
