The Lady in the Rain

A gentle, quietly world-weary office worker × a college student with a whole lot going on in her head

Every time Yu Zining meets Jiang Wanqing, it's on a drizzly day.

Jiang Wanqing is the beautiful older woman who walks toward her through the rain.

Yu Zining goes to great lengths to approach her, get to know her, and touch her.

Until Jiang Wanqing smiles and says:

"Like you, I look forward to meeting on a sunny day."

Every rainy day, when Jiang Wanqing goes to the school to see Lu Yichen, she runs into that young woman.

Rainy days have no special magic. It just happens that autumn is unusually rainy.

She and the young woman have no connection through work or study, and are destined to pass each other by.

But when Jiang Wanqing realizes that the young woman is awkwardly and cautiously approaching her, step by step and with a plan,

she panics.
