Keeping My Master Captive in Bed

I, Zhao Yuhuan, am eighteen years old and the biggest bully in Houqiu Village.

My father is a member of an immortal sect. I grew up without a father or mother, with no one to keep me in line. I drank, gambled, visited brothels, cheated, and swindled. People from miles around would run the other way when they saw me.

When I turned eighteen, I stole the village beauty.

On the day of our wedding, my father came back. His face was black as the bottom of a pot. He hauled me into the bridal chamber and pointed at the person lying on the bed.

"Kneel. This is your Grandmaster."

Me: ???

Where was my new bride?

On my wedding night, there was a hundred-year-old man lying on the bed?

And I had to kneel to him?

The man on the bed wore white as snow. A dark purple mask covered his face, leaving only a pair of phoenix eyes visible.

When he spoke, his voice was as cool and clear as a spring. "Junior brother, help me up."

My father told me to look after him.

I fed him, holding him close and giving him a spoonful of soup, then a spoonful of rice.

He leaned against my chest, his lips shiny with oil and the skin on his chin as smooth as porcelain.

I stared at his mask, my hands itching to take it off.

He was paralyzed from head to toe and couldn't move his hands or feet.

I bathed him, and halfway through scrubbing him, his ears turned red.

I tried to give him water, but he said my cup was dirty, so I made him drink straight from the spout of the jug.

He abstained from food, so I left him alone for three days. His body turned cold and stiff, and I thought he was dead.

But he wasn't. I breathed a sigh of relief, then got angry and worried, and came back to give him a good scolding.

He hadn't been this close to anyone in a hundred years. When I held him and fed him, he was as stiff as a board.

I secretly laughed to myself: So even an immortal lord can get embarrassed.

Later, he took me as his disciple.

Later still, inside a barrier, the two of us cultivated together for half a day.

When I woke up, I saw him and me lying in each other's arms, our clothes in disarray. My first thought was:

This dream is way too realistic!

I tightened my arms around his waist, not wanting to wake up.

Then fear washed over me.

This wasn't a dream. It was real.

He woke up three days later.

"You little beast!"

Smack. A slap across the face.

I held my cheek. "Master, why did you hit me the moment you woke up?"

He trembled with rage. "How... How dare you be so vile and shameless!"

I pouted. "What's so vile about it? It was heaven's will! Grandmaster himself said I'm your fated Xuanyang constitution!"

He turned his head away and ignored me.

I shamelessly sat beside him, wrapped my arms around his waist, and buried my head in his shoulder.

"Master, we already did it. Don't be mad at me."

He struggled to push me away. "Get off me! How did I end up teaching such a shameless disciple?"

Grandmaster came in and tried to soothe him with a smile.

"Hanyan, don't be angry. Yuhuan is your fated Xuanyang constitution, and I know you have feelings for him, too."

My master looked at his master with reproachful eyes.

Ashamed and aggrieved.

I seized the moment, putting one arm around his shoulders and rubbing his palm with the other.

"Master, won't you stop being mad? Don't you like me even a little?"

He said nothing. He lowered his head, his ears turning red.

I tentatively called to him, "Hanyan?"

He looked up in a daze. "Hm?"

The face beneath the mask was so handsome it was almost unreal.

I couldn't help smiling. I leaned down and gently kissed his cheek.

His whole body went stiff, an electric current running from his face right through him.

He was flustered and embarrassed, and there was a hint of... sweetness.

I held him tight and called his name again. "Hanyan..."

This time, he didn't push me away.
