The Soul-Seducing Scent in the Account Book

Blurb

[Scheming younger gong who pretends to be a con artist x gentle, saintly, righteous shou]

By day: "Uncle Rong is the best!"

By night: "Uncle Rong... I can't go easy on you."

On a snowy night ten years ago, Rong Du lost the child in his care.

His lower body was crippled, and he spent ten years searching for the boy with his broken body.

Ten years later, the boy came back on his own, so obedient it was ridiculous. Every day, he nestled into Rong Du's arms, calling him Uncle Rong in a soft, sweet voice.

But once night fell, he would pin Rong Du down and have his way with him over and over. The next day, he could still serve tea and water, then blink innocently and ask, "Uncle Rong, was I good?"

Rong Du clutched his aching back and lay in bed for three days, yet still nodded. "...Good."

Later, the boy grew tired of pretending. He turned on a dime, not only abandoning Rong Du after seducing him, but also digging a pit for him to fall into.

But after setting his trap, he regretted it. Getting revenge felt good, but how had he managed to lose his own heart in the process?

Is it too late to turn back and win him over now?

[He thought he was taking revenge, but ended up losing his own heart too]

[The gong chases his wife into the crematorium / melodramatic, heartbreaking romance / happy ending]
