I've lost my memory.
But I was lucky: as soon as I opened my eyes, I saw an identity card on the table.
It said I was the deputy of the Bitter Extremes Inspection Society, and that I had a superior named Li Yousheng.
The name seemed familiar. I guessed Li Yousheng must think highly of me.
I looked around at the blood-soaked house, and a repressed instinct stirred within me. I vaguely pieced together what had happened, then got up and cleaned the corpses out of every room.
This was a villa, and I lived in such a huge villa all by myself. It seemed I really was highly valued.
Body memory doesn't lie. Since I could handle corpses so naturally and without batting an eye, I must be one of Li Yousheng's ace agents, someone who had seen it all.
Just then, the phone that had fallen on the floor rang.
The caller was none other than Li Yousheng.
I decided to ask for a reward. After all, I'd worked really hard tonight, taking out all those assassins his rivals had sent.
_
As the Inspection Society's number two, Li Yousheng always had people trying to kill him. Recently, he'd heard that someone was planning to assassinate him. Apparently, it was the Inspection Society's mortal enemy, the troublemaker who repeatedly wreaked havoc in survival games, the number-one player on the points leaderboard, codenamed "Calamity."
So he decided to avoid a direct confrontation. He studied Calamity's file while sending a whole bunch of subordinates to hide in a villa and wait for her to take the bait.
A day had passed. Surely, there'd be some results by now.
But could someone please explain why Calamity's voice was coming through the phone, and why she was claiming to be his subordinate? Huh?
What was he supposed to do now?!

The serious blurb:
In this world, night has finally become day, and people make a living by weaving dreams.
A wall suddenly rose, cutting off all connections to reality. To get out, they had to use fragments of dreams to carve one hole after another through the tower.
Yet Calamity's name hung over the Dream Tower like an inescapable cloud. For the Homecoming Faction's ultimate goal, the Inspection Society finally decided to bring the amnesiac Calamity into their organization, invent a new identity for her, and rewrite her life.
They wanted to turn a wolf into a sheepdog. From the moment this idea took shape,
they were doomed to step into an unknown abyss for the sake of their beliefs.

Cross the mountain of blades and find blossoms in full bloom; cross the sea of fire and find lush trees by the shore. But what if the blossoms are forged from blades, and the trees are an even greater sea of fire?
Reader's guide:
A tower-climbing infinite-loop story, featuring a points leaderboard and special abilities.
The heroine is the strongest, and her memories return later. While she has amnesia, everyone in the Inspection Society plays along, trying to make her believe she's a beacon of righteousness.
The heroine has enough charisma to charm anyone. During her amnesia, everyone hates her and loves her at the same time. The corpses at the beginning have another explanation, and the heroine and the Inspection Society don't have a blood feud.
The heroine focuses on causing trouble and carrying her teammates.
The heroine's morals are fluid. When she's treated as a villain, she only does what she does to clear the game and get home; she has no malicious intent.
