Le Lian, a crippled young lady abandoned by her family, accidentally transmigrates into the game I Fight Zombies in the Apocalypse.
After discovering that her legs have healed and that she can see the fortune values of the base's top commander, Le Lian tells him, "You won't find any supplies if you go out today."
Commander Ming Feng: "?"
After returning without finding any supplies, Ming Feng asks, "What do you want?"
"Tell me today's value."
"I want a level-three crystal core."
Ming Feng grabs Le Lian by the throat and bends down. "Your appetite keeps getting bigger."
Le Lian looks up, her eyes shimmering. "No. In my eyes, your life is becoming more and more valuable."
Ming Feng knows that Le Lian is a parasitic vine who wants to kill the Host, an ambitious woman who wants to rule her own territory, and that she intends to replace him as the only object of faith in the desolate apocalypse.
But Ming Feng is willing to be the tree that nourishes Le Lian.
(The female lead will most likely be a deranged, villainous woman. The male lead's role is to nourish her as she grows until she replaces him. This story will have a little more romance than The Lord of Pride, after all, who could dislike delicious and useful food?)
