After Getting Tangled in the Tail of a Cold, Proud Commander O

[Sharp-Tongued, Purehearted Fake Scum Alpha x Cold, Fastidious Omega Commander]

Gong Ling, an Imperial general and top-tier snow leopard Omega, could have inherited her title and lived comfortably. Instead, she went to the perilous battlefield. In six years of service, she never lost a battle. Her elegant, razor-sharp tactics earned her the nickname the Empire's scalpel.

The worst injury she ever suffered was probably the bite her nemesis gave her just before dying, suddenly lunging at her with a face covered in blood.

The bite landed on her lips.

Pei Xiao is a mecha prodigy and Alpha who clawed her way out of the Federation's slums. Her genetic rank is unknown. After helping undocumented residents of the Annihilation Planet get registered, she became the "mom" of countless children. Her scandalous romances have spread across the stars just as widely as her reputation for skill.

The bloodthirsty Zerg are advancing in force, forcing the Empire and the Federation to join hands.

Through a twist of fate, Pei Xiao becomes Gong Ling's subordinate and adjutant. During wartime, they have to share a bedroom.

The more they see of each other, the less they can stand one another.

Pei Xiao thinks Gong Ling is putting on airs. Gong Ling thinks Pei Xiao is filthy.

Drawing a line with her pure-white staff, she raises a cool eyebrow.

"Touch me, and I'll kill you."

Protecting the commander is a soldier's duty, and the first priority on the battlefield.

Pei Xiao takes a lethal blow meant for Gong Ling. Her chest is pierced, and as she lies gravely wounded and near death, her head swimming, she looks at the helpless Gong Ling, gives her a wicked smile, and kisses her hard.

The good news: she didn't die. The bad news: she didn't die.

The two of them stare at each other in the hospital room.

"You kissed me."

"I didn't! The Zerg venom paralyzed my brain and made me do it. Why would I kiss you?"

"You cried, too. Couldn't bear to see me die? If you don't want me to tell anyone, then..."

The cold, proud woman says nothing. Her fluffy tail simply curls gently around Pei Xiao.
