After the Mute Beauty Who Secretly Loved Me Kissed Me

[Mutual pining / two clueless lovebirds]

Li Ge has had a crush for six years on a beautiful, mute upperclassman with a communication disorder. From school to the workplace, the beauty has always been an unreachable flower on a high peak.

Ying Yuezhao is tall and elegant, with a cool temperament. She's the sole heir to the Zhaoyue Group. The public has long spread rumors that she's mute because of her communication disorder, but Li Ge knows her voice is lovely. She just doesn't like to talk.

The beauty once murmured Li Ge's name, low and soft, like a spell of love. Just that one utterance was enough to make Li Ge fall completely for her cool, beautiful smile.

Li Ge worked her hardest to get into the same university as her crush, then joined the beauty's company and devoted all her love to her, steadfastly staying by her side.

Li Ge wanted to warm this glacier, even though all her friends urged her to give up.

The cheerful, sunny Li puppy has plenty going for her. Why waste her life chasing one person?

The moon's eyes are so cold that it's hard to tell if she even likes humans.

Eventually, the moon began to respond, little by little. Before Li Ge could celebrate, she suddenly discovered a younger childhood friend at the moon's side who was just like her, only livelier and more dazzling.

Her gaydar went off. Li Ge decided she was just a cheap substitute for the childhood friend, then went to a lesbian bar to drink her sorrows away. She grabbed a woman who looked just like the beauty and poured out all her pent-up grievances and questions through her tears.

She'd meant to cry, get drunk, and move on for good.

Who could have guessed the beauty across from her would panic and try to silence all her complaints with a frank, lingering kiss?

That night, the glacier finally melted beneath Li Ge,

and the mute beauty cried as she called Li Ge's name over and over.
