"Why did you train as a power hitter?"

"Because I love seeing the defeated look on the opposing ace's face when I smash their winning pitch out of the park."

Ayunami Kaito was once described as "the kind of guy who'd end up on a crime reenactment show if he didn't play baseball." He never holds back on his sharp tongue or over-the-top expressions, and he takes great pleasure in seeing others lose their cool.

After getting the ace's number, he only got worse.

"Someone do something about him! Tch, Chris, don't get involved. Miyuki, you handle it."

"Huh? Me, you mean?"

Also known as: "With this lineup, I don't even know how we could lose," "If you give me another flashback, I'll knock you out with a bat," "Who said this class was a letdown? This class is amazing," and "Coach Kataoka, you'll fall for my stats too, right?"

This story may be lacking in: baseball knowledge / match scenes / plot logic / everyday school life / character bonds / prose and structure / fun setting details / ...

This story may have: a protagonist who loves to roast people / a proactive Kataoka / a healthy Chris / a normal powerhouse Seido / Furuya at Komadai / Tanba as a god of war against other schools / all the upperclassmen buffed / ...

In short, the author has gone crazy along with the protagonist.

That's all.

Theme: Don't look for realism in a fantasy wish-fulfillment story.
