Heartbeat Blind Spot [Criminal Investigation]

Originally titled "3/10: Lies"

The city police received a tip that a suspect in the September 29 major home-invasion robbery had appeared on South Street in Tangdai.

With her quota short and no choice but to get drafted into the job, Lin Shuli, captain of the Criminal Investigation Unit, happened to be undercover at the massage-parlor strip closest to the scene.

As soon as she heard the news, she rushed to the scene.

Lin Shuli had to evacuate the people in the area without alerting the suspect.

Time was short, the task was urgent, the incident unexpected, and they were short-staffed.

Wearing a low-cut leopard-print miniskirt, Lin Shuli had no choice but to take matters into her own hands.

Swirling her glass and leaning against the bar, she looked tipsy as she tried to flirt with a member of the public. "Hey, gorgeous, want to go somewhere else for a drink?"

Before she could finish, the other woman kissed her hard. "Your people have already blown your cover. There are two armed accomplices on the second floor, with at least twenty bullets left..."

Bang!

Once the scene was under control, Lin Shuli tried to get closer to her. But before she could finish making up an excuse to take her statement, the woman cut her off a second time.

"You want to sleep with me?"
