They don't know each other, but they have one thing in common: they are both exceptionally gifted when it comes to deduction and sports.
Aside from the occasional unusual case involving an explosion, Bai Mi Xia Hua thinks her life is just right as it is.

Echizen, all the way over in America, messages her: [I'm back in Japan. Come pick me up.]
Bai Mi Xia Hua: [Sure. Where are you? I'll come get you =w=]
After returning to Japan, Echizen Ryoma thinks the two of them can finally enjoy some quality time together.
He never expected his childhood friend to have a little tagalong at her side, following her practically everywhere. Echizen Ryoma's face darkens. Where did this brat come from?

A high school detective and a tennis prodigy look at each other. Bai Mi Xia Hua smiles. "Sorry, I forgot to introduce you. Echizen, this is Conan, the one I've told you about. He may look like an elementary schooler, but Conan is an excellent detective."
Echizen curls his lip, looking a little annoyed. "Hmph, a detective?"
"You've got a long way to go!"
Shinichi Kudo gives him a deadpan look. "Hey, hey, what's with the attitude, brat..."
"If you're so good, then let's compete!" (Hint: soccer)
...And then he lost.
Because it turned out this guy had an exceptionally strong athletic ability!
