After his first Kryptonian clone, Konner, defected to the dark side, Lex Luthor learned from his mistakes and decided to start over. This time, he would give up brainwashing and indoctrination, and instead raise the child from scratch, striving to bring up a good boy who would willingly eliminate Superman for the future of humanity.

"Nigel, my son, from today onward, you're the sole heir to the Luthor Group."

When Nigel opened his eyes for the first time inside the incubation pod, he saw his wealthy, bald father reaching out to him with a kind and loving smile.

"Dad?" he asked hesitantly.

"I'm here," Luthor replied firmly.

"Can you sign a deed transferring your assets and have it notarized and published in the newspaper?"

Something went wrong. Again.

Luthor was exhausted.

His eldest son, Konner, was just as stupid as Superman. His second son, Nigel, finally took after him, but not in a good way.

Although Nigel had wanted his inheritance from the moment he opened his eyes, Luthor still stubbornly began his education. After all, an ambitious son still had the potential to become an heir.

But he never expected Nigel to daydream through corporate management classes and sleep through lessons on alien invasions. Luthor worked himself to the bone in his office, while Nigel floated beside him, driving him up the wall.

Luthor: What good is inheriting the company if you don't know how to run it?!

Nigel: Hire a few professional managers. I'll just spend the money.

The nightmare was far from over. One day, Luthor discovered that his son, who was good at fighting but otherwise useless and had no desire to change his legal name and join Superman, was dating Wayne's third son.

Luthor: Why are you getting so close to Wayne's adopted son?! That kid is full of schemes!

Nigel: From what I've observed, he's the one in his family most likely to inherit the business. Once he starts supporting me, I'll be set.

Ever since Superman saw Luthor hold another press conference announcing he had a son, this one with black hair and blue eyes, he'd had a bad feeling.

But when he secretly flew over to meet this Luthor heir, the boy's complete lack of reaction made him doubt his suspicions.

Until one day, Superman destroyed Luthor's anti-Kryptonian armor, and as Luthor fell from the sky, he shouted, "Nigel! If you don't save me right now, I'll donate the entire inheritance!"

A boy suddenly flew out of the top floor of Luthor Group and caught the furious Luthor in midair.

"Dad, that'll cost you a million."

He was devastated.

1. Nigel won't join the Justice League or Superman's family. He'll stay by Luthor's side and keep up their loving (?) rivalry. This is a father-son story about Luthor and Nigel, and Luthor becomes less of a jerk when he's with Nigel.
