After being offered a lucrative salary by Commissioner Gordon, Florida K9 handler Noah comes to work for the Gotham Police Department with his partner, police dog Taco.
Everyone assumes this outsider will be so shocked by Gotham's rough-and-tumble ways that he'll never adjust. Noah, however, feels right at home.
Gotham has man-eating alligators? In Florida, those things are just another animal by the roadside.
Gotham has mad scientists? In Florida, every week Noah has to take down five chemists trying to make pets immortal, three homemade-rocket astronauts, and who knows how many alchemists.
Ah, Gotham, sweet Gotham. No lunatics here who make their dogs pilot boats over the ocean. No crazies robbing adult toy shops at gunpoint. No pole dancers dressed as superheroes, shaking their butts on traffic lights.
Every criminal is so normal, some of them even poetic. What a cultured city. Noah is very pleased.
His partner Taco likes Gotham a lot too. He's been much livelier since arriving, and he can even fly now. Wait, what?

One day, Bruce is kidnapped by a thug and held at gunpoint. Unable to fight back in public, he is surrounded by police officers who can't shoot for fear of hitting the hostage. Just then, a patrol car slowly pulls up a block away. The officer gets out, opens the trunk, sets down his smoothie, takes out a rifle, aims, and fires.
A few drops of blood splatter onto Bruce's shoulder.
A clear voice comes over the nearby officers' radios: "Target down."
The blond, blue-eyed officer lowers his rifle, picks up his smoothie, closes the trunk, and says to the German Shepherd in the passenger seat, "That's another month of paid leave, Taco."
Bruce: .
Bruce: ?
Is that German Shepherd named after a Mexican food?

I'm still trying to come up with a title. I've been thinking about it for half a year and still can't decide.
Many events are based on real incidents in Florida.
Taco is not Krypto.
