Starting with Poison, I Wreak Havoc in the Ninja World: Naruto

Zheng Dao is the Hyuga clan's craziest and most wicked branch-family member, a notorious figure whose temper is inversely proportional to his looks.

He has no attachment to the mortal world, but he is devoted to the art of poison.

No matter what happens, as soon as poison is involved, he turns vicious, forgets everything else, and loses sight of the world around him.

Sometimes he massacres a city; sometimes he takes control of an entire clan. He gives the Hyuga headaches every time.

After being crazy for long enough, he drove Senju Hashirama right into the poison chamber.

Hyuga: This is bad. The Senju are definitely going to... Huh? Why isn't Hashirama exploding?

Tobirama: Brother, if Father won't save you, I will!

Hashirama: Tobirama, don't come over! Your big brother has some very serious business to discuss!

After being crazy for long enough, he drove Uchiha Madara into the woods.

Uchiha: Lord Madara really is incredi... Wait, what?

Hashirama: (Slapping his thigh with delight) Madara couldn't escape either! Hahahaha!

Madara: Hmph.

After being crazy for long enough... Zheng Dao found that he couldn't go any further.

In terms of strength, he was practically unrivaled. In terms of power, he controlled the nobles and held other people's lives in his hands. In terms of material wealth, while everyone else struggled to get by, he had everything he could want.

As for poison arts, he had already mastered every technique and method there was to learn.

He suddenly found life terribly dull. He spent his days wandering between the poison chamber and the nobles' estates, admiring the trembling, fearful looks people gave him and enjoying the thrill of controlling and toying with them.

Until one day,

Senju Hashirama cut off one of his arms. Zheng Dao retaliated by shattering Hashirama's heart, but Hashirama came back to life in the blink of an eye, bouncing around with even more energy than before.

In an instant, Zheng Dao felt he could go crazy all over again.

And Tobirama challenged him in a battle of poison, the strong challenged him in combat, and the person from his dreams fought him for possession of his body. Life was so much fun!

Zheng Dao: Kill them all! (Gritting his teeth)

It seemed he would have to throw the court into chaos, start a war, and make the entire shinobi world's resources serve him.

Then, before he left,

he would take care of the damn Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara once and for all!

...But what did you say? The person I'm working with is Senju Hashirama?

Looking at the cultivation materials he had bought from a merchant who was actually Hashirama in disguise, Zheng Dao sneered.

Good. The Senju clan has earned its death sentence.

Before Senju Hashirama dies, he'll squeeze every last bit of value out of him.

Konoha ninja: Lord Zheng Dao! (Pounding on the barrier) The Uchiha Alliance Leader and the Hokage are fighting outside the village. We can't catch up with them. Please go break it up!

Zheng Dao: I'm not going! I'm not breaking it up! Get lost!!!

-> The protagonist is a native, a villain, and a poison-using, close-combat, group-attacking speed type. Everyone but the protagonist is focused on building a village.

-> There is no logic, only kinks. As I kept writing, I suddenly realized that I was just here to write my kinks. So the early parts aren't very kinky, but the story gets kinky from time to time later on.

-> There is conquest and unification, frontier development and farming, control of the daimyo, and a transition from slavery to feudalism. There is no reform without a reason, and a transmigrator on the protagonist's side just wants a decent life, then gets furious and kicks the shinobi world hard.

Note: The protagonist is offscreen for a stretch of the story.

-> Confirmed no CP. The protagonist has absolutely no romantic instincts, and his heart and soul belong to poison.

-> However, there are unrequited feelings and interest based on mutual benefit directed at the protagonist, random bystanders shipping characters, ambiguous atmospheres caused by people being too well suited to each other, gazes fixed on the handsome male protagonist, and the protagonist's desire for control, among other things.

-> Supporting characters have several purely ambiguous or confession-involving CPs, but they are only mentioned in passing.

-> References: The early and middle parts draw on The Scroll of Taiwu, while the later parts draw on Renegade Immortal.

The Scroll of Taiwu references: early- and mid-stage cultivation techniques, all poison arts, and the worldbuilding in the dream realm.

Renegade Immortal references: the longevity aspects of cultivation techniques, the parts of Naruto's senjutsu mixed with spiritual energy, and especially the later-stage questions of the heart.

1. Plot-focused, with a progression and growth arc. There is no logic, only kinks.

Kink level: The protagonist's inner keywords are evil, ruthless, wild, arrogant, cold, devoted but solitary, bratty, and queen (crossed out). His appearance keywords are seductive, handsome, cold, gloomy, wicked, murderous, terrifying, sickly, and male ghost (crossed out). Other keywords are selective cleanliness, selective male bodhisattva tendencies, and selective hand fetish service.

2. The protagonist is not a good person in many ways. Good kids shouldn't imitate him. Just read about it in fiction, and never copy him!

3. This rewrite was only done to fulfill my long-ago wish to finish the story. In reality, I've forgotten nine-tenths of Naruto's setting. If anything conflicts with canon, please treat it as an alternate interpretation. I hope you'll forgive me.

4. Since the original has very little content about the Warring States period, the story contains a lot of original worldbuilding and characters, especially for the Hyuga clan.

5. Zheng Dao has martial arts cultivation techniques in the early story and cultivation and spiritual practice in the later story. The poison arts and techniques are based on the original Chinese game The Scroll of Taiwu. The later cultivation of the undying Zheng Dao is based on Renegade Immortal.

6. Zheng Dao is truly single, with no romantic instincts and no interest in anything sexy. The story may include the protagonist dressing improperly (and not caring what anyone thinks); the protagonist touching others (rubbing the back of their neck out of a desire to control them); characters jokingly arranging CPs and ships regardless of orientation, such as Zheng Dao's fanatical fans randomly pairing people up (he either doesn't care or gets his fists ready); and interrupting couples in the middle of sex (without realizing how bizarre it is to threaten someone in bed).
