Puppy? No, a Male Ghost

Blurb:

Former sunny puppy, later gloomy ghost of a man (top)

Consistently cold and cruel cauldron (bottom)

Qing Zhe died.

Qing Zhe came back to life.

Qing Zhe decided that being alive was great, and he didn't want to die anymore.

So he started killing people, started fleeing, and started looking for healthy but stupid people to use as vessels. He wanted to possess someone else's body and cultivate, finally escaping his fate as a cauldron.

Eventually, he found Chu He.

Among mountains of corpses and seas of blood, he brushed the dirt off his sleeves, bent down to look at the boy, who was still young, and asked in a falsely kind, gentle voice, “Would you like to come with me?”

The boy tilted his head up, gazing at the beautiful face so close to his, and held his breath.

“Okay,” he said. “I'll go with you.”

_

Chu He knew Qing Zhe had plenty of secrets.

Everyone warned him that Qing Zhe was no good and that he should be careful.

“No way.”

He smiled as he replied.

“Qing Zhe is the best to me.”

“No, no, no, you've been fooled.”

The boy who claimed to like him anxiously tugged at his sleeve and said, “He's nice to you because he wants to kill you!”

“So what?”

He had seen warning text reading “Danger” floating behind Qing Zhe more than once, and Qing Zhe had personally pushed him into the abyss more than once.

But so what? Tell me what kind of Chu He you want, and I'll become that Chu He. I just want you to stay with me forever.

Stay with me forever.

_

Qing Zhe's original plan was to raise the boy into an obedient, useful dog before he became a suitable vessel for possession.

But how did he become more and more insatiable, more and more devious, baring his teeth and jockeying for the top position just to see how Qing Zhe would react? Not only would he hug him and rub against him, he even dared to openly spy on him!

His friend was shocked. “You're not even angry?”

He replied calmly, “It's fine. I already knew he was trouble.”

If he suits my tastes, I don't mind him being a little troublesome.

Yes, he still thought that way even when he was pinned beneath him.

*The bottom is a villain who torments the top, and the top enjoys it. Don't read if that's not your thing.

Coming soon: About How I Forced the Savior to Kill Me

Blurb:

“Hey, want to raise a kid for me?”

Amid the raging flames, a scruffy man cuts open a brand-new cigar, holds it to the fire to light it, and puts it between his lips.

“Huh?”

Lying on the ground, he finds the whole thing utterly absurd.

“If you want someone to raise another guy's kid, that's not how you go about it. You can't just dump him on me!”

But then the man says, “You want to die, don't you?”

“That child can kill you.”

The man exhales a ring of smoke.

“He's our destined savior.”

-

Whether in history books, literary works, or even movies and television, there's no shortage of one particular figure:

The savior.

And Que Yan is the savior of this age.

“So you're the teacher those old geezers hired for me?”

At their first meeting, Yan Que knew that the child before him, who was only seven years old, would one day cause a storm. He just didn't know whether it would be a force for good or evil.

“That child is a notorious little demon.”

His friend said,

“Are you really going to take him on?”

“Of course. The more challenging it is, the more interesting, right?”

“Then how will you set him on the right path and turn him into a proper savior? Teach him, or put him through trials?”

“No. I have a faster way.”

I'll become his guiding mentor, his intimate lover, and his kindred friend. And then...

I'll die right in front of him.

“Some people's fates are decided from the moment they're born, just as he's destined to become the savior.”

He twirls a flower petal and smiles, eyes curved into crescents.

“And I'm destined to become one of the countless souls killed by the savior. He'll kill me with his own hands.”

-

What does God need when creating a savior?

Family bound by blood, friends who share his ideals, and a lover who will stand by him through thick and thin.

These three represent the most essential feelings in a person's life: familial love, friendship, and romantic love.

Only someone who grows up in a healthy, warm, loving environment can become a compassionate savior who helps the world and brings peace to its people, someone with love to spare for everyone.

Yes, that's how it should be.

It should be.

“Why did you lie to me?” The person braces himself above him, tears falling so hot they sting his face. “Why!”

“You're angry, aren't you? You're heartbroken, aren't you?” He reaches out and touches the other's face, gently, tenderly, as if in pity. “I understand. After all, I personally ‘killed’ your mentor, your closest friend, and your lover, so...”

He guides the other's hand to his own neck, closes its fingers around it, then flashes a wild, expectant smile.

“Are you going to kill me?”

Do you want to kill me, Que Yan?
