[Since this lazy author's blurb is really badly written, here's a summary of the book's contents upfront]
[This is a long Western fantasy farming-and-development story, featuring a laid-back but highly skilled farming Demon King as the bottom and a White Knight hero as the top. The main plot follows the bottom enthusiastically developing the land, with the top helping from the sidelines, as the two build a new age together.]
Blurb:
Kang Ning transmigrated by accident into a Western fantasy world and became the 519th Demon King in history.
The System that latched onto him said, "Don't worry, Host! Once you get to the Demon Realm, you'll be incredibly powerful, ride a dragon, and lead an army of a million to invade the human realm... All you have to do is 'a little' basic infrastructure, 'simply' maintain the demon army, and 'effortlessly' be a Demon King!"
Kang Ning was swept up in the System's grand promises. He opened his eyes full of anticipation, only to see...
A Demon King's castle on the verge of collapsing, with not a single demon in sight.
A strength rating of 5 on his status screen.
A dragon egg that had already turned to stone.
And a hero standing at the bottom of the steps, carrying a greatsword and glaring up at him.
Kang Ning: ...Any tips on the fastest way to quit? Urgent.
Lyle Houston, a Holy Knight of Light in the Church, a hero on active duty, and a steadfast practitioner of the Eight Virtues of Knighthood. His only goal was to slay the Demon King.
He charged into the Demon King's castle alone and opened the last great hall, looking forward to a decisive battle with the Demon King... only to be met by a handsome young man who looked as if he couldn't hurt a fly.
The young man had a combat rating of just five, and a tall, slender build. He was clearly no Demon King.
Lyle: The Demon King actually used an innocent person as a substitute! His wickedness knows no bounds! Good thing I saw through his scheme!
Kang Ning couldn't leave the Demon King's castle. In keeping with the spirit of the knightly code, Lyle stayed by the side of the frail-looking young man while waiting for the Demon King to show up again.
The longer Lyle spent with Kang Ning, the more the Demon King's castle changed, and the more astonished Lyle became
Magical plants that could produce crops automatically, grow legs, and harvest themselves;
Firearms that could be triggered on their own, rivaling a mage's fireball spell;
Large machines that could operate without any trace of magical energy...
In Lyle's eyes, Kang Ning, the creator of all these things, was nothing short of a miracle bestowed upon the continent by the heavens.
It was just a shame that this miracle was trapped in the Demon King's castle.
Every day, Lyle prayed to the Goddess, hoping She would let Kang Ning leave the dark Demon King's castle and bask in the light.
Even when he was framed by the Church, on the brink of death, abandoned by everyone and utterly disillusioned, he continued to pray for the same thing.
The Goddess still did not answer. But a voice, so familiar he knew it at once, sounded beside him.
"I have received your prayer."
"A god does not look upon mortals, but a Demon King is different. Pledge your loyalty to me... my dear knight."
Lyle opened his eyes in disbelief and met Kang Ning's smiling face.
P.S.
1. A farming-and-infrastructure fanatic bottom who spends most of his time slacking off but occasionally gets fired up x a top who thinks everything about him is wonderful, follows the Eight Virtues of Knighthood, and absolutely refuses to believe he is the Demon King. One-on-one pairing.
2. A lighthearted, laid-back daily life of building infrastructure in a magical world. The romance gets a little complicated now and then.
3. Kang Ning asked me to tell everyone that he's no coward, that he didn't deliberately seduce the other guy, and that he certainly didn't intentionally intercept Lyle's prayers. It was all just a coincidence woven by the spindle of the Goddess of Fate. Praise the Goddess of Fate.
