Bending at the Waist

Spoiled heiress x aloof, impoverished top student

An Jue is willful and carefree, with striking good looks.

Li Changqing lost both his parents and was raised by his grandmother. He works his way through school, reserved and resilient.

Without some unexpected turn of events, he and An Jue would belong to completely different worlds. They would never cross paths, let alone meet.

But An Jue just happens to take a liking to Li Changqing's looks.

Sunlight filters through the treetops and falls across An Jue's vivid face. The girl's arrogant smile grows even more carefree. "One kiss, a thousand. One hug, five thousand."

Li Changqing slowly turns pale. Swallowing his humiliation, he says hoarsely, "Please... kiss me."

Later, she goes abroad, and he starts a business.

In just five years, Li Changqing has become a rising star in his field, proud and self-possessed, with countless admirers. Yet he never has a woman at his side.

Li Changqing thinks he's done a good job hiding the absurd desires buried deep inside him.

But the moment he sees An Jue, he loses control.

He grips the hem of her clothes and asks in a trembling, hoarse voice, "Could you kiss me one more time...?"
