Wei Tongxin was cannon fodder in a period novel.
There were five children in her family, and she was the third.
Her grandmother loved her eldest uncle, who had died long ago. Her mother loved her younger brother, the fourth child. Her father loved her older brother, the second child.
She wasn't as magically resourceful as her eldest sister, nor was she as young and good at acting cute as her youngest sister. So naturally, she became the first person in the family destined to be sent to the countryside.
But then Wei Tongxin, a worker who had transmigrated into a book, arrived, and she had no intention of going to the countryside.
After finally getting a healthy body, she was also lucky enough to find a dual-income family. In this family, anyone could be the one to lose out, but it wouldn't be her.
Oh, and there was also the “nice big brother next door” who had been so attentive to the original character every day. Once he got a job, he treated his old promises like they were nothing. She wouldn't let him off the hook either.
Qiao Tianming was the “most ineligible bachelor” in the courtyard. No one else would put the family home directly in the names of his two daughters like he did.
Even though he worked in the factory's transport team and had a good salary and benefits, very few young women were willing to take that kind of loss and become a stepmother to children with nothing to gain from it.
No one expected their neighbor, Wei Tongxin, to volunteer. She would treat Qiao Tianming's daughters as her own, as long as he got a vasectomy before they married.
The courtyard's eccentric, Qiao Tianming, couldn't possibly pass up such a good deal.
Qiao Chaoyang and Qiao Hongxia: Shocking! My dad can't have any more kids! .jpg
Wei Tongxin: I'll never have to work for someone else again! .jpg
And so, while the younger members of the Wei family fought like crazy, Wei Tongxin stayed out of it completely, happily eating sunflower seeds with her two stepdaughters and watching the show.
But it seemed their family wasn't the only source of entertainment in the courtyard...
P.S. The heroine will not have children.
Content warnings: The male lead is not a virgin, and the heroine was not a virgin before transmigrating into the book.

Check out my new novel, [The 1970s] The Life System Keeps Me Alive
Sheng Wanjun had a stepmother and stepsister, but her father always favored her, so her first decade and a half went smoothly.
She was always excellent, bringing honor to her father's name and filling him with pride. The neighbors all agreed she was “the child every parent wished they had.”
But then she failed an exam. She didn't get into a technical secondary school or land a job at a city factory, and could only get work thanks to the fallback her birth mother had arranged for her at the paper mill.
“Your stepsister wants to steal your chance at the job exam. She has a job, so you'll be sent to the countryside,” said the Life System that suddenly appeared.
Sheng Wanjun rushed back to the paper mill, only to find that her stepsister had missed the job by one place.
The System was embarrassed. “That's just how the plot goes... Wait, I get it now. Don't unbind me!!!”
Her father turned against her, her fallback disappeared, and the System wasn't very reliable either.
Sheng Wanjun then learned that she was a minor character in several novels, with barely any screen time and a bleak future. Her only chance of survival was this strange Life System.
So she had no choice but to hurry off to the countryside.
She thought she'd have to rely on the System to coast along, surviving in the gaps between the novels' plots.
She never expected that, after all her struggles, she'd catch the wind of the times and soar!
Theme: Adapt to your environment, shape your environment, and work hard to build a better home.
They don't have a normal three-dimensional view of the world, so normal modern women don't have a three-dimensional view in the past? Nowadays, single people who eat well and drink well will pick up a 30-year-old second-married man to be the stepmother of how many children when the era comes? Picture what? I have been taught morality in modern life for more than ten years, but in the 1990s, I could only marry an old man with several children at a young age, just for the so-called easy life I want. If I am an aborigine, I can understand it, but I really don't understand modern girls traveling through time?
Aren't we at the end of our rope and having to become a stepmother? As a woman who has received modern higher education, she lived in the 1970s and 1980s just to be a stepmother? If I don't want to be assigned to the male and female protagonists of the original novel, can I go away and be assigned somewhere else? The heroine's life is really in vain, she expects a good ending for the man
The female protagonist is really not picky, she is always thinking about the male protagonist, and it would be too awkward to withdraw. The male protagonist sounds nice but just wants to find someone who is not partial, but in fact she is looking for a nanny. The heroine is still rushing forward
As soon as I saw this male protagonist, I stopped scrolling down instantly. It was so disgusting. If you don't want to have children, why don't you adopt one? Or if you don't have a male lead, you have to find someone who is married and has children?
The author is great, living is not just for living! You let the heroine and the hero fake a marriage and become partners, and then they break up. Or you let the heroine kick the vasectomy old man, and find an ordinary man she loves to live a normal life, or you kick the old man instead, and make money and work hard to become a rich woman looking for a little milk dog, wolf dog, and pretty face. Don't waste the more than 20 years of education that sisters have received in modern times. Love your neighbor and love yourself first!
What a great male protagonist. The author really hates the female protagonist, but also really loves this guy. Sudden death in modern times, traveling to the past, with no intention of doing anything, just to help the man solve the problem of warming the bed and the child. Bang
I thought the male protagonist had some advantages, but I didn't expect anything to happen, so I left the novel aside.
I feel that this is the cycle of historical development. The state in which people generally have certain goals to strive for will not exist for a long time. There will always be social disadvantages or changes that push people back to a state of confusion, and only some people can break out. For example, in this article, the contemporary world in the extra chapter is under high work pressure and difficult to find a job. Just like in the main article in the 1960s, there were not enough jobs in the city, and the unemployed and strong labor force had to go to the countryside. The people who were trapped in it did not know when the life they were living would end.
I didn't want to read it after reading the introduction. The author must have loved men very much. Modern people traveled through the past and became stepmothers of two children, but they could not have children of their own. Regardless of the fact that many people in modern times do not want to have children, a large proportion of people who are shouting online are not middle- and high-level people. The reasons for not wanting to have children include 1. Not wanting to have children on their own (harming the body), 2. High financial pressure, and 3. Simply not wanting to have children. Therefore, most people also want to have a child and someone connected to them by blood. Instead of not having children yourself and becoming a stepmother for someone else. If you don't want to go to the countryside, you can find someone to marry or someone who has no children. Are you so willing to be a stepmother? No hard work? Serving men?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Fromulnes(((()(s out off out))) situations, Wei Aijun's hands have been filled with sugar.
