But when the heart that had been frozen in solitude for thousands of years saw that figure in the Divine Court, the feelings that suddenly surged through it were more than joy and astonishment...

There was also uncontrollable selfish desire and longing.

"I heard that whoever can win over the Creator can keep her locked by their side forever... so she'll never leave again."

"The Book of Genesis says that the Creator made the gods and raised them. In the gods' hearts, the Creator is like a mother..."

But no one knew that every god wanted to control her and keep her imprisoned.

All so that, in the sacred and solemn Divine Court, she would turn her gentle, compassionate gaze toward them.

[Irreverent little skit]

A certain god presented Jiang Nan with the divine fruit she'd once loved most, then waited expectantly at her side for the System to announce an increase in the Creator's affection for him.

But then: [Creator's affection detected: -2. Current affection: 18]

The god's expression froze. He stared in disbelief. "Why?! Why did her affection go down? Didn't Nan Nan love divine fruit more than anything?"

Jiang Nan expressionlessly took a bite, paused, then set it aside elegantly and wiped her mouth with a napkin.

In her heart, she began complaining furiously: What the heck, why does this taste so awful? It's bitter and astringent. No wonder the God of Light looked so strange when she had to eat divine fruit to gain divine power in the game. He knew it tasted terrible... He knew it was gross and still gave it to her. Was he trying to poison her?!

Later, a certain god accidentally lost a button in front of Jiang Nan, and his clothes fell open, revealing a large expanse of skin.

The god looked flustered and hurried to clutch his clothes, trying to use divine power to restore the button and preserve his aloof, proud image in front of the Creator.

But then: [Creator's affection detected: +5. Current affection: 26]

The god froze. His hands, which had been hastily pulling his clothes shut, stopped and slowly fell away.

So Nan Nan liked this sort of thing?

Jiang Nan looked confused. What was going on? She didn't remember the game saying that gods could go into heat!

P.S.:

1. My take on a Western fantasy game setting. The heroine has a game System, and the gods have an affection system.

2. Romance and plot run in parallel (maybe?). There's a lot of worldbuilding, so the beginning is a bit slow.

3. The heroine is amazing, with a bit of a universal-admirer, Mary Sue power fantasy vibe. Everyone has one-sided feelings for her.

4. Some inspiration from The Lord of the Rings and Greek mythology (but not much).

5. I'm open to content warnings or criticism of the setting, but not malicious personal attacks disguised as warnings.

When Wen Bai was twelve, her parents brought home a child from their research institute and said he was her little brother.

He used to keep his bedroom door firmly shut, but now he always left it wide open, inviting her to pry into his private life.

Just as Wen Bai was starting to think Wen An had become stranger and stranger, she suddenly received a call from the school.

On the other end, Wen An's clear voice sounded aggrieved and clingy. "Sis, we haven't seen each other for two months. Don't you miss me at all? Why haven't you called me even once...?"

Hearing that familiar voice on the phone, Wen Bai's scalp prickled. She abruptly looked up at Wen An, who was sitting obediently nearby and smiling at her.

Then... who was he?

Later, the fake Wen An, the real Xiao Shisi, held her hand and pinned her against the table. His fierce gaze was filled with vulnerability and pleading as his voice trembled.

"Tell me, when you're looking at me, are you thinking of me or him?"

"We have the same face. Can't you give me even a little of your love?"

"He's just my clone, a cheap imitation... You're the only one you love."
