Shen An is a mushroom. After taking human form, he was raised by his grandparents in the countryside.

Mushrooms aren't very clever, and he had to give it everything he had just to get into college.

At last, he moved to the city to study.

The mushroom from the countryside is diligent and loves keeping things clean. He washes his clothes and bedding, but his spores still spread to his roommate's bed. When little mushrooms sprouted from the bed slats, Shen An could only quietly pull them out.

Shen An follows his grandparents' advice and lives frugally. He stretches a yuan into two, gets up at six in the morning and goes to bed at nine at night, saving money to buy steamed buns.

Later, Jiang Gu sees a mushroom sprout from Shen An's head, then another and another...

The usually sharp-tongued Jiang Gu is finally left speechless. "…"
