Cultivation x Interstellar
General Xing Xian transmigrates to the cultivation world and gets bound to a livestream System.
The good news: As long as he completes the plotline, he can go back.
The bad news: On his third day after arriving, he killed the biggest villain, completely wrecking the plot.
The next day, the System calculated the best way to fix things: complete a redemption mission.
And the target of the redemption mission is the beautiful, strong, tragic protagonist with a dark heart, whom he had nearly killed.
-
The redemption target is this world's protagonist, who has fallen to demonic cultivation.
In less than half a month together, Xing Xian saw through the protagonist's nature. He was treacherous and cunning, calculating how to make use of everything around him.
To stay alive, he would smile and call Xing Xian "big brother," pretend his legs had gone weak and tumble into his arms, then use every sweet word imaginable to stir his heart.
With the most open and aboveboard deceptions, he watched Xing Xian fall deeper and deeper, until he could no longer help himself.
Even knowing he was being used, and understanding his true nature, Xing Xian still couldn't avoid falling for him.
From the pursued character's blurb:
Du Ye, protagonist of Collapsed World 002, was ruthless by nature and had a life filled with misfortune. Yet he refused to believe in fate, and even after reincarnating again and again, he would not let destiny control him.
This gave the Heavenly Dao a terrible headache. After much deliberation, it finally brought in outside help from the main world.
The outside help it summoned was even more ruthless, killing people as easily as chopping vegetables and never hesitating to strike.
To survive, Du Ye had no choice but to look for a chance to stay alive under his watch.
But the man was unmoved by every approach, whether soft or hard. Du Ye tried threats and bribes, until he had exhausted every trick in the book.
Then the man took hold of his snow-white wrist and, with a dark look, trapped him in his arms and kissed him.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Du Ye: "..."
Well, well. So you don't respond to threats or sweet talk, but you do respond to seduction?
You should've said so earlier. I can do that.
Bonus Scene
At their first meeting, the heavens were darkened by the battle. Xing Xian pinned Du Ye down, holding a lightsaber to the snow-white neck of the protagonist of this plane.
"If you won't listen to me, then die right now."
Years later, the Heavenly Dao had faded away. In the red bridal curtains of an immortal mountain, sweat covered Xing Xian's brow and chest. At that very moment, Du Ye softly asked him, "When we first met, you pointed your sword at me and said you wanted me dead."
"Now... do you still want me dead?"
Xing Xian's gaze suddenly darkened. All he said was:
"...I'll die."
Die at your hands.
A ruthless man of few words, General Xing Xian x teasing, beautiful, strong, tragic Demon Lord Du Ye
. Lots of comments on screen
. The aloof big brother bows to love
. One-on-one, both are each other's first and only. This is a story focused on the pursuer, and the protagonist is somewhat idealized.
. Max level from the start, fictional setting, cultivation in the first half and cyberpunk in the second.
