Jiang Kaiyun, the upright moral paragon of high society, rescues a boy at a drinking party. The boy looks like a wounded fawn, his beautiful, frightened eyes fixed on Jiang Kaiyun. Jiang Kaiyun is distracted for just a moment, and the boy ends up in his car.
The boy is very shy and speaks timidly. When asked where he lives, he immediately gets frightened and starts crying, begging Jiang Kaiyun not to take him back and to save him.
Jiang Kaiyun, who never lets anyone get close to him, must have lost his mind that day. He could have sent the boy away with a few bills, but instead he took him home and kept him as a canary in a gilded cage. Everyone knew it.
But there was nothing romantic between him and the boy.
Jiang Xu is gorgeous and knows just how to charm people. Even his timid little expressions are adorable. He's also a coward, and any little noise makes him stare wide-eyed and shriek like a rabbit.
He's grateful, too. Though he can't hold his liquor, he insists on drinking in Jiang Kaiyun's place. When he's drunk, he looks at people with dewy eyes, then leans against Jiang Kaiyun's shoulder and breathes softly.
Even a gentleman couldn't stay unmoved by that. Jiang Kaiyun admitted that he'd fallen for Jiang Xu.
Luckily for him, Jiang Xu liked him too.
So they naturally got together. But just as their passion reached its peak, Jiang Kaiyun accidentally saw a text message on Jiang Xu's phone.
"You hooked him in two months? Impressive, Jiang Shao."
Jiang Xu's reply was cool and laced with amusement: "Not bad. Easier than I expected."
Jiang Kaiyun felt his blood run cold, as if it were flowing backward...
