[Mr. Rick pairing. The blurb may sound like I made it all tragic and intense, but it's actually a little sweet story, at least in my opinion.]
Rick firmly believes that life is a play and fate can arrange everything.
He carefully chose a city as his stage, where everyone, young and old, male and female, was a professional actor, except you.
You were destined to be born here. From the moment you opened your eyes, everything you saw was part of the play. Rick gave you an exceptional background, a happy family, and a perfect life path. You also had all the talents Rick needed, and for more than twenty years you followed the script unconsciously without ever making a mistake.
But Rick forgot that two things were beyond the script's control.
The first was illness.
A sudden, rare disease disrupted your monotonous daily life and threw Rick's clear, meticulously plotted script into disarray.
When you woke up in the hospital room, you thought the commotion outside the door was coming from your parents.
But to your surprise, the parents you expected to be wailing in despair were sitting quietly in the hospital corridor reading. And the stranger you had never seen before, who insisted in the department that "there is no way she could have a rare disease," was called "Mr. Rick" by the doctors.
The second uncontrollable factor in the script was emotion.
Theme: Art should bring people happiness.
