1.
The most notorious duo in the Other World. Their name sounds like some strange, edgy black-clad group, and it's painfully embarrassing.
But any player who has faced those two demons can't help showing deep fear... and exasperation.
Who even collects protection money in an infinite-flow game these days?!
Do they think their items and points just fell from the sky?!
Nakahara Chuuya: Thanks for asking. This is what happens when I try my hardest to keep my bastard partner in check.
Dazai Osamu: Think about it. Isn't paying this little bit worth it to get a Port Mafia executive to help you?
As for why nobody dares to refuse...
Dazai just smiles without a word as he watches Nakahara Chuuya handle the BOSS with ease.
He never said the protection money was only collected from players.
2.
After obtaining the special [Double Black] binding, Nakahara Chuuya and Dazai Osamu were inevitably sanctioned by the System because of their abilities.
In each instance, one of them is randomly assigned a debuff to limit their power.
As the Grim Reaper sings his dirge, Dazai sits in a wheelchair while Nakahara Chuuya pushes him around on a bungee-jumping ride.
As angels hunt them down in a frenzy, Chuuya, trapped in a five-year-old body and unable to leave his cultivation tank, can't open his eyes and has to follow Dazai's instructions.
In the endless fog, you are my enemy, stripped of your memories.
Beneath the bone-chilling sea, I am a puppet crushed by every emotion.
But even so, we'll stay together, hand in hand, pass through every conflict and misunderstanding, and reach the best ending.
*Everything is fine, but what are you supposed to do when I point out that this couple comes from the B route?~
Theme: The way to resolve conflict is to have a common enemy
