Mountain Spirit

Qing Zhuo is a mountain spirit who has not left her sacred mountain in a hundred years.

But when she went down the mountain to look for her mount, which had run off for no apparent reason, she was reported to the authorities for illegally keeping a nationally protected animal and taken to the police station.

There, she met a useless Taoist who had been arrested for swindling people.

Zhou Yan is notorious in the business for his greed, shamelessness, and lack of scruples, even more so than for his Taoist arts.

Only later did everyone in the trade, human and otherwise, realize that compared to his shameless pursuit of his wife, his greed and lack of scruples were nothing at all.
