Sean had been troubled by something lately. Ever since he went to Gotham and brought back a few souvenirs, it felt like a ghost had been haunting him.
He only took a few souvenirs. Gothamites sure were stingy!
Sean looked at the Red Hood's helmet he'd brought back, along with the bat ears he'd forcibly broken off. He'd originally wanted to take the whole mask, but that bat hit really hard. Even after a few days of recovery, his arm still ached, and he hadn't even left his room in days.
And those weren't the only souvenirs he'd brought back. There was also Red Robin's staff, an alien puppy he found along the way, a bag of Bat-symbols...
"Is he a thief?! Krypto didn't even want to go with him!" Jon complained.
"I'll make him pay for this." Damian was murderous. He'd taken things from so many people and skipped him of all people. Did he think Damian wasn't worth robbing? He'd remembered that contemptuous look.
"Heh, count me in. I won't let him get away with it." The guy had ransacked his safe house. Did he even know how to use any of that stuff? He was a mage.
Jason gritted his teeth. Do people know how hard it is to stockpile weapons?
"Little Wing, hold on. He seems to be a poor Kryptonian who's been stranded out there," Dick announced the unfortunate news. Maybe the guy would want to be his partner?
This was the blood sample left behind by the shoulder armor Bruce had smashed during their intense fight. No wonder he was Superman's kid. He was strong.
They'd heard he'd previously stolen all of Iron Man's armor, so by comparison, they hadn't fared too badly.
When Dick and the others followed the tracking signal into the town, they were stunned. Wait, do things like this actually exist?
Dick even wondered if his eyes were playing tricks on him. That guy wearing Iron Man's armor was a skeleton, right? He could see ghostly flames floating in its eye sockets.
Jason was questioning reality too. What the hell were these inhumans doing with his precious stuff? Fuck, who needs a sniper rifle to pick pears? What a waste.
"Welcome to town. We haven't had any new residents in years." Sean, the mayor, was still in high spirits at the time. In a few days, he wouldn't be smiling anymore.
Sean really didn't want to leave this house. He lived in a peaceful little town and had always been happy.
But lately, some people had suddenly appeared in town. They kept wandering around his house. Sean was sure they were here to see him, but why?
As far as he knew, there was nothing special about him. Aside from a tiny bit of superpower, he had nothing else worth mentioning.
The harassment had seriously disrupted his daily life. He didn't want people watching him no matter what he did.
Their town was perfectly ordinary and peaceful. It was all these damn outsiders who were slandering it...
