[Western Crossover] Little J, You Can Eat the System Burger

[Would you like to make a contract with me and become a magical boy?] Sure. Things couldn't get much worse, and he was practically dying anyway. [Huh?] The nonhuman being hadn't expected him to agree so readily. "So your new-player gift is just one fishing rod?" Jason asked in disbelief. The useless System had used up all its energy just to cure his fever. So now he had to use this weak, blank-slate body that had only just recovered from a serious illness to go out and complete his first quest. Fine, he could do it. But was there really fish in this harbor called Gotham? Jason spent all night fishing with his starter rod and caught nothing. Of course, he insisted it was because of all the gunfire nearby. The System hadn't expected the Host it had finally found to be this unlucky. [You've got a bite!!] The System's voice was so excited it was practically dying. At last, the damn jinx had finally caught a fish. "My fish!!" Jason glared at the giant bat that had knocked the fish he'd worked so hard to catch back into the sea. He'd had enough. He was going to catch that fish today, no matter what. If he waited until next time, who knew when he'd get another one... Bruce scooped up the child who was about to leap into the sea. Wait, wasn't he a little too much like Jason? The angry, defiant look in his eyes and his appearance were both strikingly similar to his second son. "Huh? So you're just trying to mess with me?" Jason glared at the weirdo who was stopping him from completing his first quest. His stomach rumbled with hunger. Bruce stared at the child in front of him, momentarily lost in thought. "Want a Batburger?" he asked. Jason stared at the clearly deranged lunatic. His SAN was almost down to 30, but his own meter was nearly full, so he decided not to play with the crazy person. "No thanks." Jason cautiously backed up a few steps. He was definitely going to catch a fish today. Ha, he'd already caught one before. If this weirdo hadn't shown up, he would've filled his stomach already... Little Jason, who's lost his memories because his fever fried his brain, and the System that became his dad.
