My next novel, "Taming the Arrogant Dragon at the Aristocratic Academy", is open for preorders. Please add it to your favorites!
Synopsis:
[Wasteland selfish-idealist heartthrob + play the pig to eat the tiger + secret identity]
He Nongxi woke up in a laboratory with no memories. Just after she bound herself to an NPC System and escaped the research facility, the mercenary leader caught her and brought her back to base.
The NPC System told her she was a cannon-fodder villain NPC in a wasteland world, destined to be defeated by the protagonist and meet a tragic end.
To survive, she naturally pretended to be the fiancée the leader was searching for.
By day, she was a weak, helpless pretty face: "I'm scared of mutants. Don't make me go."
By night, she put on a bounty hunter's disguise and racked up missions, earning a fearsome reputation.
The mercenaries, who revered strength, all looked down on her. Then one day, when the leader who detested her found himself in danger, he instinctively shielded her. And as many mercenaries lay on the brink of death, they saw the supposedly "weak" woman looking nonchalant as she casually dealt with a mutant the leader couldn't handle.
He Nongxi sneered: [All of you are useless.]
* [A Fingerprint Freak Appears at an Assassination Scene]
A young woman scavenges on Central Street, complaining every day that there's nothing worth picking up in the Central Base.
But she isn't content with scavenging trash. She starts leaving her mark all over the Central Base.
Her fingerprints turn up at almost every major assassination scene.
She raises her bloodstained fingers and says innocently, "I just happened to scavenge in those places."
Everyone: !!!
* [A Lunch Box Takes Down the Mutant King]
A century-old wave of mutations sweeps through Central District One. Faced with an exceptionally powerful Mutant King, the district sends out almost all its forces, but still can't turn the tide.
Then a woman holding her empty lunch box strolls to the front of the group. In full view of everyone, she tosses the box onto the Mutant King's head. With a single move, she crushes it, shocking everyone.
Combat Commander: [Where did this badass come from?]
Mercenaries: [Didn't that pretty face die?]
Little girl who sells batteries: [Isn't she the junkyard owner who buys old batteries?]
Prisoner who accidentally escaped after the prison was damaged: [My cellmate?]
Disheveled heir to a powerful family: [Didn't she tell me she was just a girl from an ordinary family?]
The eccentric black-market boss can't hold back a laugh: [Was I the only one who knew how strong she was?]
Baffled onlookers, like a badger lost in a melon patch: [Wait, who is she, exactly? Where did she come from?]
After regaining her memories, surrounded by enemies rushing toward her, she smiles and says one word: [Get lost.]
He Nongxi: Sorry. I can't grace a formal occasion, can't cook, can play a useless fool, and can be a vicious wolf.
But who wants to be a savior, anyway?
Reader's Guide:
1. Wasteland biopunk mutations + special abilities + a heartthrob heroine + secret identities nested like dolls. There are lots of secret identities, including narcissistic self-romance and self-destructive identity reveals. The setting is the author's own, so please don't scrutinize it too closely.
2. The heroine has low moral standards and high moral expectations of the protagonist. Readers who dislike that, beware.
3. Not a traditional heartthrob story. Everyone has a one-sided crush on the heroine, and there's dog-training fiction. There is a couple, but they're in the background. The author is bad at writing synopses. It's really a plot-driven story with a little romance, so enter with care.
4. The heroine is the strongest.
5. More than 70% of the cast are women. The men could die at any time, so don't get your hopes up.
Theme: Be a good person
The plot is exciting, the heroine is brave, I love it
